Dinner Bell, Photo by VincentThe Centre is owned and operated by the Wangapeka Educational Trust, a non-profit charitable society.

The Trust Board Administers the day to day running of the Study and Retreat Centre in accordance with the Objects of the Trust.

The Trust Board is responsible to the membership (fully paid members) who shall be referred to in the event of any major decision regarding the maintenance and development of the Centre.

Officers of the Trust are a Board consisting of a Co-ordinator, Assistant Co-ordinator, Secretary, Treasurer and as many additional members as deemed necessary by a General Meeting from time to time.

The Trust acknowledges the vision of the Venerable Namgyal Rinpoché in the establishing of its aims.

Our primary purpose is to foster an attidude of open-heartedness and natural curiosity into all the wonders of life, to encourage healing in a deep and pervasive way and to support the growth of wisdom and compassion through the deepening of awareness.
