A residential weekend retreat for men. The retreat will explore meditation, mythology, and movement in ways suitable for men of all walks of life. There will be spaces to deepen in solitude and connect in community. Specifically, the retreat will help you to establish meditation in your daily life, nourish connections with other men, foster creativity, and explore the neuroscience that helps us understand why we can rewire our habitual reactions (father wounds) into something beautiful for the world.
This retreat will build on the moMENtum workshops taking place in Nelson in April 2017.
Costs: $195 this includes three healthy meals a day, your own room, administration costs and resources. In keeping with a tradition of generosity, the teaching is given freely. Each individual is encouraged to gift according to their means.
About Dana for teaching – “generosity”
As the director of Opening Minds, Jaime is dedicated to the growth of wisdom and compassion in community. The training costs have been considerable to complete ten years of consistent retreat work, a Masters Degree in Education and the Open Floor teacher training. The fruits of a life time learning are offered to support you in meeting with life with wisdom and compassion. Each participant arrives at the amount of dana voluntarily. Dana is a practice of generosity that strengthens the giver and the receiver. Please bring cash to put in the dana bowl to support good teachings generously offered.
