In the Midst of Emptiness

Under the MicroscopeBy Daniel Robinson
For Mark Webber's birthday

In the midst of emptiness,
A form flies in front of my eyes
Eyes that see shape and form,
That project intelligence,

My conceptual mind takes images of electron tipped needles feeling the surface of atoms,
Fragments the world into molecular concept,
And considers the sights as molecules colliding, breaking, in a continuous array display something that speaks of order,

Oh the joy of intelligence meeting intelligence,
The knowing of feeling, which are the blue filter, the green filter, freely used,
Arising of gut knowing that investigationing manifests in microscopic freedoms,

Only to return to the world of large, finding the meaning created from the data collection,
Intuiting in an entirely different way, 1.27 x 1035 organisms, breathing me, interconnectedly part of me breathing, we breathe in clearing the clinging, we breath out bodhi svaha, the joy of dancing together freeing one another,

To a world where the senses explore micro and macro,
And collides our being into wisdom embedded in the water-solvent of mind,
Freely watching the heart beating with excitement as a water mouse hurtles past at the hands of vorticella, watching the freeing through a week and a half of wholesome karma, and we dedicate it to all beings, gigantic and small.
