The Wangapeka Study and Retreat Centre is proud to run courses taught by a range of diverse and gifted teachers. Each teacher has a unique style and presents a different way to approach Buddhadharma.
For biographies of the lineage teachers of the Wangapeka click on the names above. We begin with a tribute to the Ven. Namgyal Rinpoché, whose life and teachings inspired and supported the founding of the Wangapeka Retreat Centre.
The Wangapeka Educational Trust also acknowledges the support of five key guiding teachers or elders. These are Tarchin Hearn, Keith Rowan, Bonni Ross, Lama Mark Webber and Mary Jenkins,
These people hold and honour the vision of an engaged, non sectarian, universal buddha dharma that has energised the Wangapeka and its activities over the years. They carry a vibrant living vision of the teaching and dharma traditions of the Wangapeka and are living reminders of what the great Wangapeka project is all about.
