Venue: Aio Wira Retreat Centre, Swanson, Auckland
Chimé has studied and taught in the Buddhist tradition for over 30 years. He teaches in both the Theravada and Vajrayana traditions. He is a teacher, sculptor, community worker and father, and is known for speaking directly and with kindness.
Chimé has a strong interest in relating dharma to activism in the community and teaches mindfulness practice in this context.
The late Namgyal Rinpoche is Chimé’s central influence. Chimé is currently the presiding teacher for Origins Centre in Western Australia.
Registration:
Fees: $350 for the full week. If you would like to attend part of the week or if you are unable to afford the full registration fee then please contact us to discuss. A $50 deposit is required on registration.
Registration covers the cost of bringing Chime to New Zealand plus accommodation at the Centre for the week. You will need to bring your own food. There are kitchen facilities and we will have a shared meal each day.
There is no set fee for teaching, however Chime’s income is derived entirely from Dana / Koha. We ask you to give generously to enable his teaching to reach others.
