Chenrezig, Wisdom and Compassion Retreat Weekend with Mark Schrader

9 – 11 September 2016

Now in it’s third year as part of the WET Winter programme, Chenrezig is a Tibetan-based Buddhist meditation that embodies the union of wisdom and compassion. It is an exploration of rich symbolic imagery that enables one to connect deeply with these two qualities in oneself and therefore in others. Both beginners and those who wish to deepen this practice are welcome.

This is an experiential course where we will practice together as a group with time also available for individual work. We will touch into the themes of refuge, wholesome livelihood, one’s aspiration (what is it that is really important in life?) and other topics as guided by the questions asked by the individuals within the group. We will explore this meditation in a variety of creative and interesting ways, all within the mega-supportive environment of the Wangapeka Study and Retreat Centre.

If you have questions or would like further information please email Mark at schrader.mark@gmail.com.

Please bring some art supplies with you (e.g. paper, coloured pencils, pastels, crayons)

Costs: $175  ($150 if registered and paid in full more than 7 days before the workshop starts). This is brilliant value as it includes accomodation, food and a cook.
