Young Adults Retreat

Sunday 13 December to Sunday 20 December

Loving and Being Loved

The theme for the 2015 Young Adult retreat is “Loving and Being Loved”, in other words it’s about cultivating kindness for ourselves and for others. This theme will be central to all the activities offered throughout the retreat. Our shared search is set in the awesome beauty of the Wangapeka Study and Retreat Centre.

Throughout the course we will explore the theme of kindness and compassion in a variety of ways. We will take time to share and explore in small groups, to be involved in creative pursuits such as drama, dance/movement and art work. There will be periods of silence and reflective time to allow you to connect with your own inner wisdom. Guidance will be available for those young adults who are interested in learning to meditate, as well as for those who wish to develop their meditation practice.

We will also have time to enjoy some community activities on the property. This contribution will involve a group work project to enhance and support the beautiful land and buildings of the Wangapeka centre.
